It’s important in any business to work with reliable and reputable suppliers and manufacturers. Those that you know beyond doubt share your ethos and values – and your dedication to the very highest levels of quality and service.
This is especially important when you’ve built up a business and clientele over four decades, like we have. We won’t work with just anyone! Our customers deserve, and get, the absolute best – in terms of service AND product.
Showcasing Stoves
In the Coalwood showroom, we aim to showcase a wide variety of our suppliers and their stoves and fires, as well as hearths, mantels, all manner of stove accessories – and of course, kiln-dried logs. More than that, we stock a gorgeous range of home décor accessories to complete your focal point beautifully. With over thirty stoves on display, and the display of stoves updated regularly, you’re sure to find the inspiration for your wood burning or multi-fuel stove, or your media wall and electric fire.
We’ve carefully and meticulously selected our suppliers, after all, with over forty years in stoves, we know what’s good and what works. With well over 200 stove and fire brands, offering thousands and thousands of models, we’ve done painstaking research, so you don’t have to.
Quality Over Quantity
Some stove and fireplace warehouse-type firms may stock and display countless stoves from all the manufacturers, with less regard for quality. Experience tells us it’s far better to offer stoves from a hand-picked selection of manufacturers. We are familiar with the stoves; we can stock spares for those stoves. In the - thankfully rare - event of a problem with a stove, we know our manufacturers are as committed to customer satisfaction as we are. And, as a small but expert team, we can help you get the right stove for the right site – avoiding costly, or even dangerous, mistakes.
So, without further ado, get to know some of our most popular stove manufacturers, carefully chosen because we know they’re some of the best:
Dunsley are based in Holmfirth, Yorkshire. That’s where their factory is and where all their stoves are designed and handmade. Established in 1950, they’re one of the longest-standing manufacturers of Woodburning and Multi-fuel Stoves, and pride themselves on unsurpassed quality and service. Like us, they’re a family company.
All their stoves meet the latest legislation and are now rated for energy efficiency for your convenience.
Established in 1972, and based in Denmark, HETA are another family firm. Their promise is “excellent, Danish-designed quality for everyone.” Their wood-burning stoves are some of the cleanest burning stoves in Europe, tested according to the applicable, and boasting unique firebox and air channels reduce to CO2 and harmful particles.
HETA’s stoves are crafted from stylish matte black steel and can be combined with ceramic in a range of colours, soapstone, sandstone or granite to complement any home.
The Penman Collection is the culmination of over 65 years of experience in the stove and fireplace industry. Every stove in the Penman Collection is precisely handcrafted using premium materials, and beautifully designed to add elegance and style – as well as warmth - to any home, whether it’s a period property or a contemporary pad.
Penman is renowned for their wide range of fireplaces and stoves, including limestone and timber mantels as well as solid fuel and gas stoves. Penman also offers a terrific range of multifuel SIA & DEFRA-approved stoves.
